"Advertiser" means the company, individual or entity submitting an application for a featured placement.
"Agent" means the AI software agent or tool being advertised on the Pievra marketplace.
"Campaign" means an active featured placement running on the Pievra marketplace during a defined period.
"CPI" means Cost Per Impression - the price charged for each verified buyer impression delivered.
"Daily Budget" means the maximum amount the Advertiser authorises Pievra to charge per calendar day.
"Impression" means a single verified display of the Advertiser's agent listing to a qualified buyer on the Pievra platform.
"Pievra" means the platform operated at pievra.com.
"Placement" means the specific position on the Pievra marketplace where the Agent is displayed.
To advertise on Pievra, the Advertiser must:
Pievra reserves the right to reject any application at its sole discretion without obligation to provide reasons.
Approved applications will receive a confirmation email within 1 business day with next steps and payment instructions.
Advertising on Pievra is priced on a Cost Per Impression (CPI) basis with a daily budget cap set by the Advertiser. Current CPI rates are:
Pievra reserves the right to update CPI rates with 14 days' written notice to active Advertisers.
Billing occurs in arrears on a monthly basis for the actual impressions delivered during the billing period, subject to the Advertiser's daily budget cap. Payment is processed via Stripe using the payment method on file.
Advertisers may request a formal VAT invoice for each billing period. To request an invoice:
Campaigns will be paused if payment fails or is not received within 7 days of the due date. Pievra reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at 2% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower.
The Advertiser sets a daily budget cap. Pievra will not charge more than the daily cap in any calendar day. Unused daily budget does not roll over to subsequent days.
Delivery of impressions is subject to available inventory and buyer activity on the platform. Pievra does not guarantee delivery of the full daily budget on any given day.
Advertisers may pause, resume or cancel campaigns at any time via the dashboard or by contacting legal@pievra.com. Paused campaigns are not charged for the paused period.
Pievra uses impression-level tracking. An impression is counted when the Agent listing is rendered and visible to a verified buyer for a minimum of 1 second.
All creative content submitted by the Advertiser - including agent descriptions, logos, performance claims and protocol badges - must be:
Pievra reserves the right to require amendments to or remove any content that does not meet these standards without issuing a refund.
Before a campaign goes live, Pievra conducts a technical and compliance review including:
The Advertiser must cooperate with this review and provide access to technical documentation, API endpoints and test environments as requested. Failure to complete verification within 10 business days of application approval may result in cancellation without refund of any setup fees.
Verification does not constitute endorsement by Pievra of the Agent's performance or suitability for any particular use case.
Advertisers receive access to a real-time analytics dashboard showing:
All metrics are updated within 24 hours. Pievra's impression count is the definitive figure for billing purposes. Discrepancies of more than 10% between Pievra's count and any third-party measurement tool must be reported within 30 days of the billing period close to be eligible for credit.
Refund requests must be submitted to legal@pievra.com within 30 days of the charge. Refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
The Advertiser retains all intellectual property rights in their Agent, content and materials. By submitting content for display on Pievra, the Advertiser grants Pievra a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and distribute that content on the Pievra platform and in Pievra marketing materials (including the Protocol Intelligence Weekly newsletter) for the duration of the campaign.
Pievra retains all intellectual property rights in the Pievra platform, marketplace infrastructure, protocol verification tooling and editorial content.
The Advertiser warrants that their content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
Pievra processes Advertiser contact data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR - performance of a contract.
Impression analytics do not include personal data about individual buyers. Buyer profiles are aggregated and anonymised before being made available in the analytics dashboard.
If the Advertiser's Agent processes personal data of buyers or end users, the Advertiser is solely responsible for ensuring GDPR compliance of that processing. Pievra may require evidence of a compliant privacy notice and lawful basis before approving a campaign.

Pievra's liability to the Advertiser in connection with any campaign is limited to the total amount paid by the Advertiser for that campaign in the 3 months preceding the claim. Pievra is not liable for any indirect, consequential or loss-of-profit damages.
Pievra does not guarantee any specific number of impressions, clicks, deploy enquiries or revenue outcomes from a campaign.
The Advertiser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Pievra against any claims, losses or expenses arising from: (a) inaccurate or misleading content submitted by the Advertiser; (b) infringement of third-party intellectual property; (c) the Advertiser's Agent causing harm to buyers or their systems.
The following Agent types and content are not permitted on the Pievra marketplace regardless of advertising spend:
Breach of this clause entitles Pievra to terminate the campaign immediately with no refund and to report the Advertiser to relevant industry bodies.
These Advertising Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
Before commencing legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a minimum of 30 days.
For accounts with a separate written agreement, the governing law and dispute resolution mechanism in that agreement takes precedence.
Pievra may update these Advertising Terms at any time with 14 days' written notice to active Advertisers. Notice will be provided by email to the address on file. Continued use of advertising services after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
For material changes affecting billing, cancellation or liability, Pievra will provide 30 days' notice.
